The Department of School Education in Andhra Pradesh is expected to release the results for the Andhra Pradesh Test Eligibility Test (AP TET) July 2024 exam today, November 4, 2024. Originally scheduled for November 2, the results were delayed due to the late release of the final answer key.
Candidates who took the exam can check and download their results on the official website at aptet.apcfss.in once they are released.
A total of 427,300 candidates registered for the AP TET exam held in July, with 368,661 actually appearing.
The School Education Department will also issue lifetime pass certificates to the successful candidates.
Examination Details
The AP TET examination took place over multiple days from October 3 to 21, 2024, in two shifts: the morning session from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The exam was initially rescheduled from its original dates of August 5 to 20 to allow candidates additional preparation time.
Final Answer Key and Passing Marks
Prior to the results announcement, the department released the final answer keys for all exams. After the provisional keys were published, an objection window was opened for review before finalisation.
Passing marks for the AP TET exam are as follows:
- General category candidates must achieve a minimum of 60%
- BC category candidates require at least 50%
- SC, ST, ex-servicemen, and differently-abled (PH) candidates need a minimum of 40%
